DG Tracy Thompson visited the Autaugaville Lions Club. Autaugaville had the highest percentage of growth in the district last year!
PDG Robert Thompson discusses the importance of LCIF to the Anniston Lions Club. Anniston experienced high growth last year and facilitated a huge amount of service in their community.
The 2025 District 34B Convention will be held at the Wetumpka Civic Center on March 15, 2025. Convention registration begins at 8:30 a.m. The $35 registration fee includes continental breakfast and lunch. You can use this Zeffy link to register electronically: https://www.zeffy.com/ticketing/2025-lions-34b-annual-district- convention-restoring-our-roar. If you prefer to mail in a paper registration, please print this form and follow the mailing instructions. You can also register and pay at the door by cash, check, or Venmo (@LionTracyT). If you use Zeffy, you will be asked near the end of the payment process if you would like to make a donation to Zeffy. Please check “Other” to opt out. We will be having a pre-convention dinner at Taste at the Fain on Friday, March 14, at 6:30 p.m. Please join us there to meet PID Tom Matney and enjoy great fellowship with other Lions. A block of rooms has been set aside at the Hampton Inn Wetumpka if you would like to stay in town overnight. You can reserve a room by calling (334) 731-2222. Please request the “Lions Club Block” to receive the special rate of $159 plus taxes. All reservations must be made prior to February 28, 2025. Reservations after this date will be full price ($198 and up, plus taxes). The Hampton Inn is within walking distance of the convention venue.
